Bubur Gandum (Wheat Berries/Pearls Porridge)



This sweet porridge is a traditional dessert typically found in many night market in Malaysia. It's also a popular meal served during the holy month of the Ramadan season.



Bubur Gandum (Wheat Berries/Pearls Porridge)

Ingredients

1/2 Cup Wheat Berries/Pearls, rinsed
1 Tbsp Sago Pearls. rinsed
3 Cups of Water
2 Pandan Leaf, knotted
2 Tbsp Sugar, or to taste
2 to 3 Tbsp Palm Sugar/Gula Melaka/Jawa
1/2 Cup Coconut Milk
A big Pinch of Salt
